Jewish Weddings at Meridian Grand

A Jewish wedding is a sequence — and every stage takes place in its own dedicated space.

Tish in the Infinity Suite. Bedeken in the Eternity Suite. Chuppah in the Meridian Ballroom, beneath the skylight, oriented toward Jerusalem. Yichud in the bridal suite, immediately after the ceremony. Chuppah reception at the rear of the Meridian Ballroom, partitioned for separate seating where required.

Dinner and dancing in the Grand Ballroom — large white tiled dance floor and 1ft staging included. Mitzvah Tans back in the Meridian Ballroom from 1am, with a late licence to 3am.

Mechitza in the Grand Ballroom for the dance floor; in the foyer where required. Female-only staffing on request. Two bridal suites — one for preparation, one for Yichud. Netilat Yadayim handwashing stations are located outside both ballrooms.

Most Orthodox weddings at Meridian Grand run Monday to Thursday, with Sunday availability. The venue is flexible with event timings, and can accommodate a pre-sunset chuppah, with the Tish and Bedeken sequenced around sunset timings. The venue licence runs is until 3am, allowing plenty of time for a Mitzvah Tans where desired.

Can we have an indoor chuppah at Meridian Grand?
Yes. The retractable skylight above the Meridian Ballroom opens during the ceremony, allowing the chuppah to stand beneath the open sky while remaining indoors. The skylight is positioned south-east, so the chuppah faces toward Jerusalem.

Can we have an outdoor chuppah?
Yes. Designated areas at the building frontage host the chuppah outdoors, with or without a marquee. Our car park stewards manage vehicle flow throughout the ceremony to keep the space undisturbed. This option is particularly popular with Hasidic families.

Does Meridian Grand provide Kosher catering?
We host approved external Kosher caterers and hand the kitchen over early in the day for the Shomer to supervise from the start. We have hosted weddings under Kedassia, KLBD, Federation Kashrus, and the Sephardi Kashrut Authority.

What days do you host Jewish weddings?
Most Jewish weddings at Meridian Grand take place Monday through Thursday. Sundays are occasional. We do not host Jewish weddings on Friday evenings or Saturdays, in line with Shabbat observance, though we occasionally have Bar and Bat Mitzvahs after sunset on Saturdays.

Can we host Mitzvah Tans?
Yes. The Mitzvah Tans typically begins around 1am in the Meridian Ballroom. Our late licence extends to 3am specifically for this — meaning the dance can run its full course without interruption.

What is included in your Meridian Grand experience?
A large white tiled dance floor and 1ft staging are included. Late licence to 2am (3am for Mitzvah Tans). Early supplier access from 10am. Free, fully-stewarded car park. Cloakrooms with attendants. Two bridal suites. Air conditioning throughout. Handwashing stations outside both ballrooms. A dedicated events coordinator and set-up team to deliver your floor plan.
